State Fair 2008

We all went to the state fair on Thursday. We had a great time. even though there was the possibility that it would rain, it didn't and we had fun. We spent 7 hours there. I think we fed and touched every animal that was at the fair. We also got to go fishing in the outdoor area, Alexis got to sit in a fire truck, and she even got to bowl. In one of the buildings there was a sports area. Alexis was able to bowl. She had a blast....and for the low ,low price of only 55 thousand we, or you could own the 2 lane Canadian type bowling alley for you house. We passed this time. Maybe next year....yeah right lol.

Company Picnic

Well today was McDonald's Company picnic. There was lots of food, games, music, and prizes. Alexis had fun at the dunk tank, she tried 3 different times. On the third attempt she hit the bulls eye and dunked the poor person inside the tank. At first Alexis wasn't sure if it was OK, but when everyone cheered she became very excited. Alexis also managed to move 3 rungs on the monkey bars all by herself. What a day. Alexis had a blast and got to meet Ronald McDonald. She was very excited. BTW....Ronald McDonald will be at the Troy McDonald's on Livernois on Tuesday October 28th. He will do a magic show @6:00pm and there will be a meet and greet before the show. Please come out that night and have lots of fun.

Before the picnic Alexis was able to go up to her school and see her teacher and check out her classroom. We are very excited that school will be starting in a week.

Dreams and Wings 08

We attended our 3rd dreams and wings in Ann Arbor. What a great time we had. Alexis and daddy got to fly in a Cessna with Captain Dick. Alexis even got to be in the front seat , the co- pilot. On top of flying Alexis was able to sit in and check out a fire truck and the U of M Survival Flight Helicopter. What a day !!!! We always look at Dreams and Wings as the kick off to a new Dance Marathon season. We can hardly wait for the new teams and all the fun that follows.

what fun

We have been doing so many things this summer. On Thursday we (Chris, Alexis and myself) met Sara and the boys Hunter, Josh and baby Owen at the Detroit Zoo. This was a great day, the kids all got to go and feed the giraffes. We then had a picnic lunch, and finally rode the train back to the front of the zoo.
