Today at out church they had the first BIKES, CARS, & GUITARS event. It was lots of fun. There were of course bikes, cars, and wait for it................yes guitars. After the service, which was put on by the Bowman family (link on the left), there was food, music, blowups for the kids, and a chance to vote for you favorite bike and/or car. Again, we had a great time. If you are ever in the area of 14 & Van Dyke on a Sunday morning say around 10 ish, stop in and check out the church.

cranbrook
Well, we finally went to the Clawson Library and checked out 2 of the many passes they have there. We (Chris, Kristen, Alexis, and Myself) all went to the Cranbrook Science Center. We had a good time and there were not a lot of people there. They had a Bat experience downstairs which was pretty cool. When we got to the end there were real bats that you could see and watch them eat and fly around. Alexis said that the bats were the best part of our trip. So, if you get a chance....go check out the pass and enjoy.

We lost a tooth
Alexis had a tooth that she was hoping to get out before school was over. Well that did not happen. It finally came out, but at Little Caesars. Thank goodness Ms. Smith gave us the tooth necklace before school ended. The necklace was the real reason Alexis wanted her tooth out. So here are her new toothless smile pictures.

Teachers gift
Well for the teachers gift I asked every child to color a picture on a square of fabric. These are what they did. I made one quilt for the teacher and one for the parapro in Alexis' class. They both seemed to really like them. So now I need to start thinking about what to do next year for the 1st grade teacher.
