Daddy, Alexis, and I went to the state fair today. We had so much fun. We saw sheep, goats, pigs, cows, ducks, bunnies, quail, turkeys (both baby and adult), and horses. We not only saw all of those animals we made sure we touched every single one. Alexis and her daddy both got to ride an elephant. It was very cool and bumpy says Alexis. Of course while at the state fair we had to have the following "snacks".... funnel cake, cotton candy and our favorite...lemonade. Lemonade is the drink that goes on forever. We drink it, then Alexis eats the lemons and daddy eats the ice. True family fun. While at the state fair we met Rover, he taught us "code red rover, grown up come over." This was a tour of rovers house where we learned about safety.
Alexis practiced milking a cow on 2 pretend cows before finally getting the chance to do it on a real one. She had a great time and was very brave.
The main reason we went to the state fair on Sunday was that our church's choir was going to perform. It was great to hear the choir, youth choir, and gospel choir perform outside of church. What a great way to share about Jesus. I think they did a good job representing Zion Christian Church.
We did not do any rides because the price was outrageous, but we still had a super time.
