Happy Easter !!

so much has happened.

So much has happened since I last posted. Alexis has been to a few cheer competitions, of course they won. We had a blast with our team at Dance Marathon. I have been hooked on facebook. We are just busy all the time. I will try to keep things more current.

GLCC in Novi

On Saturday Alexis' cheer team The Pride of Trilogy performed in Novi. All the girls seem to have a good time. As a team they received an exhibition trophy.

Alexis was surprised by the Dance Marathon team. It was great to see them and it really made Alexis' day. Team EE had made sings and when the girls came out to perform Team EE yelled for Alexis and you could see her light up and smile.

It was also great to see Uncle Danny and Aunt Dawn. We do not get to spend enough time with them.

Our next performance is on Saturday Feb 21st in Cobo. The event is free to those that want to come out and see. I will try to post what time we go on closer to the date.

These are players from the Chicago Throwbacks. The played against the Detroit Panthers tonight and were gracious enough to take a minute so Alexis could get a picture with them. They were a pretty good team. Thank you guys for your time !!

Detroit Panthers Basketball

Alexis and I went to the Detroit Panthers game in hopes of selling fundraising tickets for the Pride of Trilogy. We were selling raffle tickets for either a notebook signed by the Pistons or a Signed Calvin Johnson Detroit Lions Football jersey. The tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $20. The drawing will be in early April. Unfortunately I only sold 2 tickets in 2 days. Still way off from the fundraising goal of $23,000.00. The money is going for uniforms, hotel , and travel for the Pride of Trilogy (special needs cheer) to be the first special needs team to perform at U.S. Finals in Virgina this May.

Well the Detroit Panthers are great !! They took time away from their half time practice to get a picture with Alexis. Well she is hooked and wants to go to their next home game, but this time she wants to sit in the bleachers. Alexis also got to go on the court and dance with the Panther girls. She knows some of them from cheerleading. All in all Alexis had a good time, and I am hoping she will sleep all through the night.

Cheer Update

Alexis will not be cheering on January 11th in Lansing. We just found out today that the pride is not performing on the 11th. see you at the next event.
